Handling Waste

Assigned Waste Only

Collect only the waste types assigned to your sack (plastic, organic, mixed) as per ground instructions.

Syringes, needles, broken glass, dead animals, or chemically contaminated items. Mark the location and report to a volunteer immediately.

Boundaries and Zones

  • Stay within the designated cleanup zone marked by coordinators.
  • Do not enter the water under any circumstances.
  • Do not climb breakwaters, rocks, or elevated structures.
  • Follow all instructions from coordinators on the ground.

Minors (Under 18)

Must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Guardians are responsible for the safety of minors.

Treat fellow participants and volunteers with respect. Do not disturb wildlife or vegetation. No alcohol or prohibited substances.
